Drain hole location/size?
« on: June 06, 2013, 06:29:53 PM »
Does someone happen to know the dimensions of the side floor drains that are on both sides of the 3a aft of the side step?

I think it's in the 7/8" by 3" range but I'm not sure.

Also if someone knows or can measure how far aft the hole's front lip is from the step..

A picture would be really cool....

Thanks

Randy

Randy,
I measured 3" x 3/4". I confirmed this on two different Willys. I measured 1 1/2" back from the step.

I couldn't find a very good close up. Sorry...

If nobody else posts a close up, I'll take a picture and post it tomorrow.

Thanks Tim,

I'll be able to get it really close..won't do it today as the hole saw I bought is a 7/8"...The trick is turning the lip inboard...I may not try...I tried it earlier on a practice piece and it was a little rough.......
