« on: March 03, 2013, 06:38:14 PM »
Im at the point in disassembling a parts CJ3A and Im down to the frame its not too bad some rust through where its boxed over the front axle on the inside of the frame should it be saved or just cut up. Im on the fence because I dont want a yard ornament thats going to sit here for years is it worth saving or just let it go?

Plenty of guys need parts and pieces of frame so if you want to cut it up offer parts here...I for one need a set of motor mounts.
The rear bracing is often damaged, as is the front crossmember.

Put up a pic of the worse damaged areas and we can tell you more  about whether we would save it.

General Rule of Thumb

NEVER throw anything away until you are COMPLETELY done with your Jeep project.

You never know what little part you'll find that you need. It's probably still on your parts vehicle.
We made that mistake twice - no, three times - on John's 3B project. Had to go to the forums and look for parts.
