Hey Tumbleweed....Well the PO did the up grade to 11" but I will be buying the parts I need, shoes, wheel cylinders, ecentric bolts
from Walcks. My front drums are fine as well as the springs. According to Carl Walck, the conversion from 9" to 11" was done with
station wagon and pick up brake components. I have a 75 J10 and I noticed I had one (1) set of shoes in my extra parts box
and they look almost identical to whats on the cj3a. My 3a was an early production model, 270?? serial number and a lot of
parts on it are cj2a parts: Rear end is a Dana 41, has a split windshield and the Tub is cj2a dimensions. The Tub does have the
cj3a tool compartment. The serial number plate says it is a cj3a so I guess that would be the official name but I have to always
remember it could be a 2a part I'm looking for.
It might be worth checking around for brake parts for those vehicles and you might find a better deal since you will need the drums also.
I hope someone else who reads this might have some more concrete information to add.
