Does anybody know sizes of brakes in station wagons/pick up, and can they fit onto cj3a jeep? looking to upgrade brake system while restoring my cj3a. :-?

From memory I think the wagons and trucks had 11"x2" brakes. Should be an easy swap to a CJ-3A.

Bob,

Would a set of Wagon/Truck brakes require modification to work into an otherwise stock 3A?

I have not actually performed this conversion but did look at all the components to see if it would work. Seems like the only modification necessary would be in the front brake lines and hoses.

Thanks for the info, and that sure makes me feel better about upgrading system. Didn't want to do the "disc" thing, will look mostly stock and STOP!!! Kinda like having cake/ice cream and enjoying both ;D ;D ;D

Thanks.....
