Decoding Engine Serial number
« on: April 22, 2011, 03:52:53 PM »
Let me start by saying that I have the F-134 Hurricane engine, not the L-Head. I'm trying to figure out the year it was made but can't seem to find that anywhere on the net. I've seen some descriptions, but they describe 11 digits. Mine only has 7.

1T57638

Anyone got a source to figure this out?

Thanks,

Hi, I think your engine started out life in a Willys Pickup, thus the T in your number.  Go to "The CJ3B Page" and I'm pretty sure you can sort it out.
