dash knockout

does anyone have a photo of the knockout on the dash for the govenor throttle control? mine is missing and i would like to replicate it to cover hole as the plug is missing. this is the knockout to the left and above steering column.

There is no "cover", per se; it is more like the knock-out on an electrical j-box, if you are familiar with what that is.  Mine is intact, but the picture posting here is so step intensive, I'm not willing to post one.....sorry.

Today was a nice day in Southern Utah so I took my Jeep out of cold storage to run it around just a little.  It gave me an opportunity to take a photo of the 'knockout' in the dash for the governor control.  This is a picture of a 1949 CJ-3A dash that has never been altered.  Many 3A members know that in restoring my Jeep I used much of a MD Juan tub and other parts.  However, because I disliked the dash and cowl of the MD Juan tub I cut the dash and cowl from the original tub and installed it on the MD Juan tub (I did that with many other parts that were in good shape on my original tub, as well).  So, here is the photo you requested.  Hope it gives you what you wanted.

That sure is a pretty Jeep Calvin. Annabel will be jealous when she see's your Jeep. I'll spruce her up some before I come out there.

Calvin, I continually envy your Jeep.  You did such a great job.  
My knockout was "knocked out", so when I converted to a 12 V. system, I used the knockout for a 12 V. incandescent lamp and lens from Radio Shack that fit the hole (.50) for the "idiot light" on my 3 wire alternator.  That pluggedd it.  I still run a voltmeter too.  Jim
