Steering Tie Rods

For anyone that might be curious, I can definitely confirm that it is much easier to align the front end with a left AND a right tie rod in lieu of two right tie rods. LOL :
I had trouble getting alignment and discovered that there were actually two right side tie rods on my jeep. It was impossible to tighten them enough to get toe in. The left tie rod is approximately 1" shorter than the right side. Swapped in a proper left tie rod and it aligned right up. Now it steers better and a lot less wear on the tires.

I need to check the toe in on my Jeep and I have been putting it off since I got it. One reason is I need to replace the double ended part in the center.

I would not delay. The parts are pretty inexpensive and the work is pretty basic and not to hard to do. It will save your front tires if you have good alignment. I did a lot of damage to my front tires driving without it aligned properly.

Yes, your right, I have just been putting off ordering the part until I found more things to order.

I ordered the part today and will put it on when it gets here. That was the only ball socket that had slop in it.
