Rear bumper with reciever

I decided to fabricate a bumper for the cj3a. I wanted something with some girth to it and to have the 2 in receiver tube. This is what I whipped up at work. I still plan to put some shackle ears on it and the paint on it will match what we paint the bumper.  No modifications were made to the frame and if down the road I want to go back to the original type bumper I can easily.  Has anyone else made anything like this?

That's beefy Nick.  I like how you tried to duplicate the original shape.

That looks nice. I used rectangular tube for the front bumper. I wish I had thought to put a receiver in it.

The plate hinges up to make plugging in the trailer plug easier but locks down in use.

I didn't really alter the rear of the frame rails other than removing the original rear cross member.  The replacement bolts into solid bar inserts that extend about a foot inside the frame rails and to which the shackle hangers and roll bar mounts also bolt.  It was outboarded to gain a few more gallons in the fuel tank and I didn't want it sticking out as far as the stock version which I managed to mangle about every time I had it out.
