Lost brake pedal shaft keyway?
« on: May 11, 2015, 03:00:37 PM »
I took my brake pedal arm off the shaft, and didnt notice the little key fell off the shaft, and after tearing the garage apart I can't find it.  Without it the pedal arm just rotates freely on the shaft like the clutch does.  Is there a more specific name for this part?  Once I know what its called I can search online for one.

Been there...(Losing that key)

It's called a Woodruff Key.  My local Ace Hardware has a nice selection of sizes.

I think that size is a 3/16" x 5/8"....or...3/16" x 3/4".
