I'm straying from Willys material again here but wanted to post anyways. I chased this M37 down at an auction today. I've never driven one and don't know much about them but was immediately smitten - which is a very dangerous combination.
I managed to get it running during the auction preview (as it was about the only vehicle out of the 200 there that had no key to hide from me

) and all seemed well enough. The blasphemous confession of "I would sell my M38 to free up funds and garage space for this thing..." popped in to my mind way faster than I hoped it would.
Alas, someone at the auction wanted it worse than I did and the M38 is safe for now. The selling price exceeded my preset limit so no new toy for me.
On the way home I decided to follow up on a rumor and found this, hood up and under a tarp:

Limited spy photo here only. It's a one owner '59 Bugeye Sprite languishing in the dilapidated garage of said original owner. This will be a tough nut to crack but a great find either way. More to come from this one I hope.
