Add your working jeep photos here!!!
« on: April 18, 2013, 07:41:59 PM »
I'm shamelessly stealing a thread topic idea from another CJ site, however, it's one of my favorites so let's see what happens here. Does anyone actually use their Jeeps for real "work"? Mine contributed to spring chores today when I used it to haul the dock planks up from the lake in preparation for their annual maintenance. Pretty light duty stuff, indeed, but an bona fide productive task nonetheless. Anyone else?

Bill started the thread over on the 2A page, so I would say you are ok with stealing it.  ;)

Absolutely!! But you might want to add " Add your working jeep photos here!!" to your title.....

Interesting mix of tires on that trailer. Somewhere there is a tractor with one tractor tire and one tire to match your trailer..... ;D

Nice picture composition too. . You are setting the bar high..

We have a section like this on the Old Willys Forum as well. It's called "Where was your Willys Today"? We made it a sticky so you could always find it easily. One of my favorites. (Hmmm, I think I'll make it a sticky here, too.)
Here's my 3B earning its keep. Four plowable snows this past winter. Two the winter before.

I had to haul some axles to my friend's house today. They are from an '86 K20. We are putting them under his K5 Blazer that he broke a rear axle shaft on.

I figured with a working O/D, a supersonic head, and dual carbs, you would be hauling the titan around......... ;D ;D ;D

Would hauling lawn chairs, food, and beverages count as work?
Its a jeep thing, but you would understand if you have ever lost your wallet.

Garden time in Texas!!

Brought home the 2-bottom plow for the 8n Ford.

The tractor started being cantankerous, so the willys did the discing.....

I moved 4 bales of hay across the property to the barn. It's the first job, and longest trip I've made with it so far.

Bonus, since I dont have seats yet, the bales gave me something to lean against!
