Yesterday and today I spent the day looking for the Hotel Rock ruin. Well, today I found it. There were so many trails from the lookout spot that I ran out of time driving on them. Today I took the only one left that may work and it did.
Here's some of the apartments that were available in 500 AD. Several people lived in these dwellings over the centuries as shown by the pottery shards of different eras found on the ground.

Opps, time to leave, a storm is fast approaching and I have a long way back to high ground.
The storm was below me heading ENE but it was hard to tell just how far North it would come. I had the Jeep doors with me and I put them on when it started raining. I got a good shower but nothing near what was just South of me. When I got to the dugway it had stopped raining on me and when I got to the top of the dugway I took the doors off and ate lunch. Then I did some more trails looking for some ruins Calvin said was out there but I couldn't find the dugway off the Mesa the ruins was supposed to be on.
Oh well, driving the trails was interesting anyway. Some of the trails were narrow and only fit for an ATV but I made the Jeep fit them anyway. I had to push a dead tree out of the way with the front of the Jeep and the windshield.
Yeah, Annabelle and I had a great time and we both loved the trails even if she did get scratched up some.
