Car show
« on: May 05, 2013, 07:54:35 PM »
Today was the kickoff to my show season for me. I went to the one and only car show that I go to. It also has a pretty good swap meet. There were a few jeeps there, a '45 column shift and a few MBs. Some other really neat stuff that I like, model Ts, original paint cars and some cool hot rods. The green '53 Buick next to me was 100% original. The owner was cool too. He and I agreed stuff is best when in original paint.

Met one nice guy working on what he thought was a 1950 3A (registered as a '47). I asked him if he looked at the 3A page and he said it was really helpful in figuring out what he had. Good job guys!

The dual carbs worked great! Same MPG as the past few times that I've gone down here with more HP for sure!

My home built engine was a huge hit too! Every time I started it, I got a huge crowd.

Looking good.  It gives me endorphins just to see your great-looking Jeep in among those classic cars.  Thanks for the pics.
