Snow Day
« on: December 29, 2012, 05:02:35 PM »
New water pump went in late last night so, for scientific purposes, I had to go for a test run today. The only thing more fun than a Jeep in the mud is a Jeep in the snow....and snow is a lot easier to clean up when you're done. Here's a video. Warning: May be incredibly dull to watch except for the most die-hard 3A geeks - and even they ought to be pretty bored first:

Loved it! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

For a feature film, you might want to make it a little longer!  I barely got my hand into the popcorn bowl.

Did you happen to look at the temperature gauge and see if the new water pump was working? Too short so I just replayed it a dozen times. GREAT..

Water pump seems to be working. I want to put a few more miles on it before it is deemed a true success but initial results are good: Temps are where they need to be, no coolant where it shouldn't be, heater still works. This is a new and welcomed environment.
