Hi, since no one has posted to this sub forum I decided to say Hi so we can see a new thread instead of the old one. I also have been spending time to fix the motor home for my next trip to Utah to visit my wonderful friends I have made there. I also will soon put the Lock Right in my Jeep for the high desert drives I will take.

If you own a CJ2A or CJ3A and never take it on wilderness drives off road you don't have a clue what your missing. Driving on ancient Jeep roads and trails is one of the greatest things you will ever do.

Driving my Jeep on paved roads is BORING and done purely out of wish to drive the Jeep everyday. Off road is the greatest thing you can do for you and your Jeep.

PLEASE, do not tow your Jeep anywhere without removing both drive shafts or hauling it on a trailer.

Full agreement.
My problem is that there are NONE of those around here.

That's a problem most states have including Ky where I live. I do have a few gravel and dirt roads to drive on and three creeks to ford across. There are some woods with trails that I drive on sometimes but I probably shouldn't go there.� ::)� ;D

If you like to trail ride check your state for private or government lands for trails. If you live out West you're very lucky. I don't so that's why I save my money and spend a month or more in Utah with my new friends and driving the trails.

Are you coming out to see Calvin again this year?  Perhaps I might find some way to join ya.  I just hate having to borrow other peoples stuff (truck/trailer).

I agree with you, paved roads are an excuse to drive the jeep, but I  have to tell you, I took mine to the Grocery store the other day, when I left a Range Rover Rouge went by.  the guy driving it just about twisted his head off trying to get a good look at the Willys.  Now that's a magic moment !!! ;D ;D ;D
