Hey folks,
Just last night Sue and I returned from 8 days in Rome, Italy not Georgia, This is a trip that I would reccomend for everyone, we did all of the great monmuments, the Colleseum, the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Palatin Hill, the Forum, the Pantheon, it was amazing. While I was there we kept looking for Military Museums that might have 15th Airforce or an American Army tribute. There were some miliraty museums but they seemed to focus mostly on Italian Military. And unfortunately we were not able to get to Monte Cassino, drove by it.. My one amazing revelation was the size of the roads and just how appropriate our little jeeps are for this city, Mercedes has an A and B class car they sell there and Audi has an A1, they look just like the onew here only itty bitty. We found streets that anything bigger than a cj 3 would rub on both walls. Cool place, great wine, great food, great time.
I'll post some photos if you guys want to see some, let me know.
