Two nice days

We had two warm days here and I took advantage to do some Jeep things. I sand blasted some replacement intake/exhaust manifolds for Annabele Lee, my Jeep. I also made a metering rod setting tool for a friend. I also had new tires mounted and balanced for Annabel so now she has four new sneakers on her.

Come spring I plan to replace the head gasket and maybe the head, replace the intake/exhaust manifolds, set the valves and give her a good going over. Later I plan to replace some sheet metal and put some rubber pads between the frame and tub. The rubber pads are long gone now.

I'm making a list and checking it twice, gonna find out just what needs done.

Seems to me, Carl, that you're just having too much fun with that Jeep.

Yeah, every chance I get  . The tire deal didn't turn out as I like, they didn't get the valve stems straight so I let the air out and tried to align the tubes. Got one straight, I think, but took the other back to have them break it down and move the tube around. I don't want the stem to get cut by the rim. Now I have four new tires on the Jeep with four used spares. I still have two rims and tires on the spare parts Jeep and two empty rims. This spring I will tear down the parts Jeep and start selling it.

I plan to use the new tires in the winter and the used tires in the summer until they are worn some more. I will keep two for spares before they are worn to bad. At some point I will keep the new tires on the Jeep.

Today it's raining and the next three days it's supposed to snow.   I bought the Jeep to keep it from snowing but I don't think it will work that way.
