I dumped facebook so heres some banter

I recently quit using the popular internet networking site called Facebook. For those of you that don't know about it, think of facebook as the annoying relative or coworker that you feel like you must talk to, even if you have better things to do. Sort of like being polite and talking like your mother told you to.

Anyways since I have freed up hours of my day, I thought I would dish out some useless advice for others to read if they care to.

1. If your jeep doesn't run correctly, then quit driving it. I bet 90% of the questions and problems on this site would go away if everyone just used old jeeps for conversation pieces in the shop or as lawn art.

2. If something in your jeep rattles, try putting your hand on pretty much everything in the cab and see if it stops. So far I found the dash tag, toolbox lid, parking brake handle, shifters, wiring box, tools, passenger seat, vent, shifter lid, and many others.

3. The saying if it ain't broke don't fix it is a lie. If you are bored you should go out and mess with something. Chances are you will ruin it, and fill countless hours fixing your mistake. I bet you won't be sitting around bored any longer however

4. If someone asks how many jeeps you have, tell them 30. They will think you are joking and drop it. But we all know you have at least 30 jeeps worth of parts, so no one can call you a liar. Honesty is a man has these days.

 , I'm on facebook but I look at it as something to do if I'm bored.

1- that's a good one. I bought a tig welder from a man that had an overhead door in his garage that led to his living room. The living room had a tile floor and he parked his Porsche there so he could admire it while relaxing in his easy chair watching TV and eating supper.

2- everything rattles in my Jeep including me so I gave up trying to fix them and me.

3- I've done that a few times and ended up working days to fix what I broke but it was fun.

4- if someone asks how many Jeeps I have I say, not enough and leave it at that.

When I was 10 or 12 my parents found a Schwinn Apple krate on ebay for me. It had a rare disc brake and everything! That bike spent a lot of time in our living room, I used to wipe off the tires after riding it all day and bring it in the house

Wow, that's tender loving care for sure. I kept my bike in the garage or under the back porch.

When we were kids we use to cut the front forks off a couple of donar bikes and then slip them over our forks to make choppers.  And don't forget the baseball cards in the spokes. Good times.

I look forward to the day I get to search for rattles in my jeep. The only time I hear things now is when parts clang together on my garage floor.
