Hurricane
« on: August 27, 2011, 09:29:10 PM »
I had to pull the Jeep out of the barn and tarp it up tight in driveway. Hurricane Irene is supposed to hit us on the Connecticut coast in the morning and there are some giant oak trees overhanging the barn. I was hoping to finish prepping for paint and have it ready to shoot next weekend. We may end up loosing power for a week or more. :(

I hope nothing falls on the Jeep or any thing else except the ground.

Well, hurricane hit, family safe, house safe, Jeep safe. Widespread tree/utility damage. We're on our 7th day without power and working off of genset. Hope hurricane Katia stays out to sea. :-/

Hang in there guy.  Glad you can report no personal injuries or property damage.  Bummer to be without power for so long.  We're all pulling for you.
