Got the drivers side floor panel cut and fitted.  Ready for welding tomorrow.

Got more done today.  Drivers side floor panel installed and some hat channels.  Made a mistake on this but it is easily corrected.  See if anyone can find it.  That is why the pic shows both sides.

The different offsets in the holes was the ONLY thing I could see that looked suspicious.  The rest of the work is awesome and I AM just a little bit jealous of your skills, especially the welding!!!

I had clamped the passenger bottom hat channel on and it popped off.� I picked it up reset it and welded it one.� Only after I welded the second piece on and rechecked for the next hat channel piece did I notice the hole and captive nut was not where it was supposed to be.� I had picked it up flipped.  Oh well easy fix) and on with the show.

Worked on repairing the drivers side step.  It was rusted about the hat channel and where it attached to the body.  I cut a new piece and welded it to the step and then fitted it to the body.  Welding to commence tomorrow.  Still have a small insert section to weld in yet.  Then on to finish the tool indents.

Got the last of the hat channels for the floors in.  I added the small section to the drivers side that was in the passenger side on the DJ3A.  Adds a lot of extra support to the floors.

Worked on the last piece of the hat channel for the transmission hump.  Took that part off of my part jeep and fitted and welded it in.

Next I had to cut a patch for the hole the PO had put in the transmission tunnel for a bubba'd brake parking lever.  The panel had to have a small arc hand formed to fit before welding.  Panel clamps were used to hold into place for the welding process.

Worked on the transmission tunnel today.  It was different than a CJ2A and 3A as the DJ was not 4x4.  Then when the PO added 4x4 he cut it up real bad.  How it looked when I started today.



The tunnel from my CJ2A parts tub to be used.



Set in place and marked for cutout and fitment.



Welded in place.  Still need to do a small section to the right and the upper left where the steering column and brake pedal go.
