You saw this tree in my earlier post, but passing it again I wanted another photo. Here you can see the whole tree. The trunk is larger than a Jeep.

When we're on the trail Carl is always smiling. Except inside he's frowning because this is his final trail ride in Utah this year.

Yep, that's the trail ahead.

Even though it's quit steep, this is one trail that ain't going to ever wash out.

Climbing up from the valley floor.

I said it was steep.

We just keep climbing.

Somewhat of a level spot in the trail.

Since photos fail to show the contour of the terrain this trail crosses Carl stood in the depression for the picture.

Finally arriving at the top.

Cleaning a plugged idle jet.

Our dining area.

Next we'll climb to the distant mesa.

Looking back from atop the mesa to where we've been.

Heading back on the county road.

Different terrain, different surrounding, and different roads--all in the same ride.

We'll see you next year, Carl
And like the CJ-2A driver from CO and the CJ-5 driver from NM, any of you who would like to join us next year, please do.
