Carl,  I'm going to rebuild a Carter YF this winter and I hope to be able to use your method to set the metering rod. The two carbs seem very similar to one another although the top of the rod seems more accsessable on the WO. I'll have a better idea when it's apart. Theres alot of good info on the YF over on the 3B site.

If the metering rod setting tool is the same for both carbs what I posted should work.
