Steering Tie Rods

For anyone that might be curious, I can definitely confirm that it is much easier to align the front end with a left AND a right tie rod in lieu of two right tie rods.  LOL �: I had trouble getting alignment and discovered that there were actually two right side tie rods on my jeep. �It was impossible to tighten them enough to get toe in. � The left tie rod is approximately 1" shorter than the right side. �Swapped in a proper left tie rod and it aligned right up. �Now it steers better and a lot less wear on the tires.

I need to check the toe in on my Jeep and I have been putting it off since I got it. One reason is I need to replace the double ended part in the center.

I would not delay. �The parts are pretty inexpensive and the work is pretty basic and not to hard to do.      It will save your front tires if you have good alignment. �I did a lot of damage to my front tires driving without it aligned properly.

Yes, your right, I have just been putting off ordering the part until I found more things to order.

I ordered the part today and will put it on when it gets here. That was the only ball socket that had slop in it.
