 I have been riding around without one and looking for an appropriate one that will mount well and not look hideous

 Beautiful Jeep and the scenery is amazing. My wife and I hope to make a color tour sometime, won't be this year because of previous travel commitments but the plan is for 2021. Provided there is still a safe America to travel in... weird times.

 Any, I also hope to be on here more often, now that family life has settled... not too much going on with my build, just driving her around, get loads of attention, which I am sure you do as well. Enjoy!

Wow I cannot believe that I have not posted anything here since 6-15-18... where has time gone. Since then wife asked for and received a divorce, I met another woman who is wonderful and we got married... WOW

To write it down seems out there, but thats what happened.

Anyway, my wife and I love the Willys and so do the grand babies.

As a note of interest I was able to take my Uncle now 95 and drive him in his old Jeep in the memorial Day Parade again in 2019...

Just over 4500 Miles on her now...

Now that you've rotated them, if you park on flat concrete are you able to see any bulge or dish from the front?

 I surely have no clue what I am talking about either but I give it my best shot 

 I have not noticed anything like that, I am going to try the lower psi and see where that gets me... more to come

Not indicated in your post, what tires did you have and how did they wear?  Anything else with the set up different?

 The previous tires were over 30 years old, they were probably not used very long before the Jeep was "retired" from use and left to its own deices. So I really could not get a good read off of them. Pictures of that can be seen in my CJ-3A Thread...

 I will try lowering the tire pressure and see where that gets me

 Anyone else experiencing abnormal wear on you Supertraxion Tires?
 
 All my tires are at 30 PSI, the front tires are extremely worn in the middle... If they were on the edges I would think alignment, center tire PSI, but since all four are the same I can't see that... Anyway, I have about 5000 miles on these tires, I just rotated them today to help me get more miles out of them.

 At this point it looks like I'll get 10,000 miles out of a set of tires

Hi Randy Yes, both my sending unit and tank were replacement. I do not know if my original sending unit would have worked or not, I figured I'd just replace it. My replacement tank has the holes for the screws go all the way through as well...

Easy enough, my favorite Permatex "Aviation Form A Gasket" worked like a charm on screw threads as well.

Well today�s effort went much better, I had more time this morning and was able to slow down.

It seems the sending unit tabs don�t sit in the groves of the tank anyway since theee were three tabs on the sending unit and two notches in the tank.

The bottom line is the sending unit would never sit flat against the gasket unless you notch the gasket.

And way fixed and not leaking now

 Well, life is what you make of it...

 After pulling my sending unit out, and saucing up my first gasket with sealer I realize that there are some tabs on the sending unit and cut outs in the tank... no problem, snip snip and I have openings in the gasket for them...

 Then I notice that they don't line up, I must have miss cut..  No problem, I bought a second gasket...

Cut that sauce it up and ... What The...  The tabs in the tank, and the sending unit are no where near each other...

 So much for an easy job... Try again tomorrow I hope my sauced up gaskets will keep....
