I only run 12 v systems and my “1 favorite is the group 24F.
Fits my tray and the hold down both.

When I selected my battery, I used a chart like this:
https://www.jegs.com/Sizecharts/bcigroup.html
To see how the sizes compared. I wanted a popular, easy to find group - just in case.
I also researched other classic vehicles that had similar hold-downs like ours. But, on ours the hold down rods are off-set from center. In the end, I bought a replacement battery hold down and took it to a shop to have it lengthened.
Also, even though the math worked, I still took it with me into the store to test fit over the batteries. From what I've seen, the hold down looks different for a 12V vehicle. I wanted the older style.

I modified my inner fender to allow a series 31 battery 1000CCA its huge same size we use in our dump trucks at work.

Haven't started the engine yet. But I am running a Toyota 6cyl starter so I am sure it will spin my new 140cuin 7.2-1 engine just fine.
