Thanks for the additional link, just what I needed.

Now another question, is there a buffer of some sort on the hand brake where it contacts the dashboard? I think that it needs a felt ring. I could expand the hole and put a rubber grommet. What is "normal"?

I bought a couple of packages of these..

http://www.lowbrowcustoms.com/leather-washers-1-diameter-x-1-8-thick-with-3-8-hole-10-pack.html

I put them everywhere, including under the parking brake handle....I may have opened the hole a bit....

I used several on the rear view mirror...

Here it is..

Perfect .... I have that bracket that I thought was for a return spring.  I also have the clip because it is the same clip that in attached to the frame member and I bought a new one to replace my bent one.

I appreciate all of your help.

I guess that the wiring harness clip does not fit now that the bolts are used for the bracket.

Here, this shows it better....I think that air cleaner bracket is just hanging there..it doesn't look right...

Do you still have your old tub?

Something is missing there...

This first picture might not be clear enough, but there ought to be a bracket on the firewall..I'll look for another picture....I don't remember what I was pointing at or why...

The second picture shows a clip I added to the bellhousing..there already was a hole there...mine was plain but apparently on some they are threaded..you could easily thread it though...

I have another stumping question. What does the cable end connection look like? It it available?

The hand brake cable sheath needs to be secured somehow. The parts book indicates a clip on the flywheel for a CJ2A and nothing for a CJ3A. I found several images on the 2A web site showing a special bracket and a bracket attached to the side of the air filter bracket (2A web site thread: http://www.thecj2apage.com/forums/hole-in-air-filter-bracket_topic19373.html).

What is the correct? Also, I put a wire clip on the right side harness as it looked like it needed support; is this correct?
