My one recommendation...If you do this, cut out one hole at a time. Weld in the indent, then cut out the second hole. I cut both holes at the same time. I had a hard time keeping the steel from warping while welding the indent in place. If you do them one at a time, you should be able to keep the warping to a minimum.

Hi Terry, My experience is the tools will stand off the surface too much to be constrained if using the standard tool bracket mounts. I cut the slots in.
Good morning gentlemen. I have a question I�m hoping one of you can answer for me. My Jeep is a cj3a that has taken on the looks of an m38. My question is if I wanted to add the pioneer axe n shovel would they fit right without the indentions in the body. Thanks again for any and all answers and help.
