E85 (15% alcohol content) gas has again come to the "fuel market" at the pump. BUYER BEWARE!!!
When originally marketed, E85 was advertised as "110 octane" and was the "cheapest priced fuel". It is NOT for everyone.
Now, the article attached seems to indicate E85 as just "88 octane"??? What is deceiving to me is... that in the two attached pics of pumps, one only shows a non-defined "88 OCTANE button" next to the "87 Octane button" (regular) that we have become used to selecting for the most part. (no prices indicated). TOO easy to make a BAD CHOICE???
Note... Diesel is the "green button".

This next preferred pic shows lots of background contrasts to indicate different choices. However, now what do you get "if" you chose the " separate E85 button" next to the "88 OCTANE=E85" indicated button??? The article attached tells WHY it is so risky of a "choice" if "not sure what you are choosing and getting"... or what your vehicle can use???
