Fresh Air Heater

I finally put the finishing parts on my fresh air heater. I found the original style knobs and had them engraved as per the originals. I also found a photo of a NOS heater and realized that the instruction decal I had made years ago was wrong, so I had a new, correct one made and installed. I now can call this project done!

I can imagine the knobs were a challenge.  Looks real good!

Were did you find parts ? i' ve been wanting to restore mine as well    the pull fan knob is broken, it slides right out the rest seems to be ok

My fan switch was OK and the shaft was threaded 10-32, so I ordered a couple of Black Bakelite Mercury style knobs that were threaded 10-32 from LDS Interprises and had them engraved at a local computer engraving company. They also did the vinyl control graphics.  My heater water control valve cable was missing, so I found a choke cable on e-bay that was also threaded 10-32 .
