Poor quality parking lens

FYI... I recently was involved with a vendor by ordering a pair of 2-1/4" clear glass parking light lenses.  One of my originals was broken on an edge, and I wanted a "matched set" and ordered TWO NEW lenses.  One came nice and "new-looking", but the other looked like "etched glass", not a glossy polished surface.  When I tried to exchange the etched one, I was told by the vendor "all of their inventory now" is the "etched surface".
 
I asked a different vendor about their inventory of lights, but got no "response" so far.  So, I'm just saying "caveat emptor" if you want an "original" looking lens, as the "new supply" does not match either "original" or "NOS" with "clear polished glass".  The quality of the new source is NOT like it used to be.  Ask before you invest... IMO.  Pic attached of what I sent to vendor comparing the original, etched, NOS models is enclosed.  Hard to see the differences in the pic, compared to the "live eye".

This is a legitimate rant....

I've had the same problem with other things.  I felt my only solution was to send it back with a polite note explaining it doesn't match.

Thanks Rus.  BTW... second vendor attempt hasn't responded about their "quality glass finish" of their lenses.  First vendor gave me a "partial refund", so if anybody wants the etched-look one, PM me. 
 
Or... Since I went the "bling look" for "shows", I also have a "sanded and painted black" set of bezels for both sides of the turn signals (2-1/4"), and one "original '62 lenses" (chipped as seen in this thread's pic = left lens of the three).
 
Some Super glue or other clear-filler could fill the slightly visible missing glass area to waterproof it.  I have the seals too "both broken in half", but they are "hard", if anybody is on a tight budget.
