T86AA Crack
« on: March 28, 2022, 01:16:05 PM »
So I started to put my T86AA together this morning and I find this crack. I'm running 31" (235/85/16) tires and have lockers front and back. Stock Dauntless exc. for HEI, headers and dual exhaust. Will this stay together? Mild to moderate 4 wheeling. .... or T14/15? Thanks Eric.

No, I would not run that.  Number one, it will always leak, and number two, that is a really poor place to have a crack.  If you have a good machine shop available, it could likely be welded and re-machined but that would also likely cost way more than finding another case.
