CJ3B 57348-117993 Finished
« on: February 10, 2021, 02:09:18 PM »
after 15 months, I think I will call it done. Still have a few things to do, but that can wait until next winter. I think I am just going to enjoy it for the time being.

Looks better that when I first picked it up.

Thanks!
That baby s--- green paint was house paint, put on with a brush or corn cob or something. It was horrible, there was so much paint, the hood was stuck closed! Inside had 3 layers of carpet glued down with contact cement!

All your hardware, did you have it Cadmium platted?  Mike

No, every bolt, nut and washer is polished stainless steel.  I even found stainless steel windshield hinge bolts at The Jeepsterman.

There are a few items, like the windshield latches and vacuum hose clips that are zinc plated. I did those myself with a homebrew kit.....results so-so...
