Midwest Willys Reunion
« on: August 05, 2011, 04:54:41 PM »
I don't see anything about the Midwest Reunion here.
Is anybody going?

I'm a newbie to this forum, not having a 3A.
I have one '54 3B, half of a '54 3B, half of a '59 3B and a whole '57 Wagon.
I'm planning to go to the Reunion with a truckload of parts.
I've listed some of them in the For Sale section.
1946 2A - - - 1949 me - older than most of my Jeeps
1954 3B - - - 1957 Wagon - - - 2010 4-door JK
past Jeeps ---> '54 3B - no tub --- '59 3B - no engine
past addiction - VW ---> '69 bus --- '70 camper

I've been to the Midwest Reunion the past two years and had a blast.  Both years I had very good luck picking up some parts I needed.  I don't know if I can make it back up there this year, but I will certainly try.  I had PLANNED on my 3A being done and hauling it up there  ::)..........but I don't think that will happen by then. :(

Here is a link to the Midwest Willys Reunion:

Check out the link, there are several pictures from past shows on the website.

The fall show will be September 16-18 in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Back from Jefferson City.
The Reunion was fun but the weather was terrible. Cold, rain all day - chilled me to the bone.
Met cool people, saw cool Jeeps, scored some parts, sold most of ours. Overall a good trip.
A long-time vendor told me it was the deadest show they'd been to in years. The economy and the weather were really hard on this year's reunion. Wait 'till next year.

Ah yes, we chatted a little didn't we? Everybody I met was new so they all kind of blur together.
We left after the banquet since we figured the Sunday morning ride might be rained out.
