In 1949 there were 2 different hood block spacings. Later yet another spacing was also introduced. And there were 3 different right front fenders in '49. I am just keeping track of serial number trends and percentages for the different components. It's all in my book  ;)

Bob, I didn't forget about you, just got home too late to get out to the barn and take a picture.  I'll get it loaded up on Wednesday.

OK, can anyone explain to me how to attach a photo to a post so that I can answer Bob W's request?

You will need to upload the photo to a hosting site such as photobucket and then paste the link in your post.  You cannot post a photo directly from your computer to the board.   A lot of people use photobucket because its free and easy.  But there are a lot of image hosting sites, some free and some for a fee.   I personally use photobucket and have had a good and free experience.    www.photobucket.com
