Yes, that brass nameplate is soldered at an angle to the top tank on the drivers and engine side, just below the top. It is at a 10 and 4 o'clock angle. The tag reads (top row) "004019" and below that is "Golden State Rad". On the passenger side of the top tank is the serial number "649638". The tanks are of brass and the foverflow tube is of copper tubing. I have Googled "Golden State Radiater", but get nothing (except Golden State Manufacturing". It is a good, well made radiator.
As a side note, when I was cleaning the underside of the hood, I found an oil change sticker under all the dust/oil, stuck on by a dealer from Waldport, Oregon dated 1953. I bought the Willys 15 years ago, when I lived in Oregon. I am about to fire the engine up, and drive the "rolling chasis", hence the grill and radiator work brought this up. My wife asked how I was going to drive it without the tub, and I said "well, if Fred Flintstone did it, so can I". She had that deer in the headligfht look and said "your crazy". Yea, I expect most of us are. Jim
