Uhhh.. what goes here...Dj-3a dispatcher
« on: July 26, 2015, 10:17:01 PM »
Hey guys.. just finished cleaning and painting my transmission... I saw this hole as I was taking the transmission out and have no idea what attaches here... it's roughly 1 inch wide.. has a lip for an o-ring and 1 screw holds it in... but inside there is a threaded part of the shaft...

Thanks!!

Anyone know where to get those parts?? I guess I need a gear and cable... I can't seem to find any when I do Google searches... I saw a 17 tooth gear but it says it must be pressed on... is the end of the spedo cable round??? Or is there a shaft that attaches to the cable?

Thanks  >:(

That's a T96. I'd call Carl Walck and ask him. Give him the model of Jeep, wheel size, and year. Also look at a parts diagram for that ransmission in a manual and you should see what's needed, and what it's called. John
