Location and number of Footman loops

Looking for correct number and location of the FOOTMAN loops on a cj3a.
Don't think it would be the same as in a cj2a.

There are as many as 20... or as few as 1.  Because the tops were optional equipment, so were the footman loops.  The only one that I believe was standard is the loop on the grill to hold the windshield when it was flipped down.

Tell us which footman loop locations you already know and we will fill in the gaps.

Dinesh, I won't be of any help as to what you are looking to find out, but I will say I have added them wherever I need them.  I fine them really useful for lashing stuff to when off-road, and so over time have added them as the need arises.  They are all "working loops" and I haven't regretted one of them! 8-)

Thats been my policy as well Hawk. Put em where you need em.  My M38 A1 has two on each side of the tub, in the rear, one behind the front seat one just at the rear of the tub, two on each inside rear fender, One on the hood for the windshield tie down, one on the windshield... all over.

Six along the back side...




Five on each wheel well area.  There are dimples on original tubs that dictate locations.  The one loop at the front is in line with the three in the cargo area...




The three in the recesses in the cargo area are fairly self explanatory...
