Tire/Can Carrier

Guys,
I finally got a round to building that tire/can carrier that I've been putting off.� I used Jpets basic design, but used 1.5x1.5. x1/8 steel tubing instead of angle.� I used the tail gate hooks as the top point and the rear cross member as the lower point instead of the drawbar.� Now, If one of you guys can help me with how to get those photos out of Photo bucket and onto this page I'll post some photos.� I think it looks pretty good, a local painter powder painted it for me.

I built a carrier to hold three gerry cans in 1973 for our new CJ5.  The carrier has been on three Jeeps and is now configured for one can, a high lift jack and the spare tire.
I think you will enjoy your creation for years.
Hope to see pictures.

Here you can see where I attached the can carrier and tire mount, I used the same tire carrier that was on the the side and bolted it to the carrier.

I know this looks like I'm jacking my postings up to get more of those little stars... it seems like the long way around the barn but If I don't have to use PB anymore I'm happy !

This is how I attached the carrier to the jeep, on the top I used the tailgate hooks attachment, on the bottom I bolted it to a couple of holes in the rear cross member.� These holes are located pretty close to the draw bar mount location.

Last one, any questions let me know.  In case anyone asks, GFT is Gun Flint Tavern, its a cool place to ride, the Gun flint Trail, and the tavern is OK too.
