Very pretty! Thanks for the heads up on seeing your pictures here. The only thing wrong is we weren't there to make sure you were safe and-----------go do those trails that you decided to pass on.  8-) Oilly

This looks like beautiful country.  Perhaps someday you could host the gang on a "Desert Colors Tour" in the spring time.  This might be the perfect place to start the Jeepin season for those of us that can't wait for the snow to melt in Colorado. ;)

Tim, the DCT has a ring to it.  That would be a good start to the Jeeping season.  Tom

I should add....Would be a nice place to possibly dodge the torrential rainfall up north. ;D

Best times to go would be December thru March. You get cool days and nights. Oh yes and no white stuff. I think they call it snow.

Danm Tumbleweed, very nice!
Oilleaker said I had to come and check this thread out during our last phone conversation.
Evidently, I aint smart enough to get the U-Tube video to work.... Whats the title of it? Ill see if can search it out.
Another question, How long did take you to drive to Big Bend from Bedford?

See if this helps.

Its a 12 hour trip from my house. A long a** way! We actually stopped overnight in Fredricksburg to see the bluebonnets and then Ft Davis. We were in no hurry. On the way back home we only stopped once in Junction at South Llano State Park.

Glad to see your back again.
