Ted's story
« on: March 15, 2014, 06:47:24 AM »
Now that Ted is done, this is where I'll be posting pictures and videos of all his adventures!

I really can't wait for warmer weather. I love having no top and windshield down!

Yesterday, Ted had fun down at the lake with his new friend. He has this strange problem though. When going about 40mph, the steering suddenly turns to the left or right and he starts skidding sideways. I try to stop it but that doesn't do anything... He also has a strange fascination with donuts and snowbanks.

Check out the build thread. He is named after Theodore Roosevelt since he started the national parks. I painted Teddy on the windshield frame.

Yesterday I took Ted down to our swimming hole to scope things out. Looks good still.

But then on the trail back, he got to go swimming!

Ted had a busy day today. It was such a nice day, I took his top off and folded the windshield down and went to the gas the gas station.

But then I went cruising around and ended up at the POs house. He was amazed at how nice it was and he remembered me and the jeep!

And then we did a little 4 wheeling to get home. Now I know why I love this jeep. I had so much fun wheeling. Its way more fun than a modified one any day of the week!

The Jalopy and the Queen pavement will be jealous. You should give them all a little bit of love.

I took the '53 out yesterday!!! And the Jalopy is still broken out in the woods. I'll get to it someday...

But yesterday, we did some 4 wheeling with some new friends. It was awesome!!!! I'm amazed at the things a stock flatty can do!
