Long lost sibling.....?
« on: January 26, 2013, 04:46:17 PM »
I realize this may be a bit of a stretch for a 3A page posting, however, I'm putting it here anyways. I've been on a pretty good run this winter of spotting Willys vehicles close to home. I spied this one today, about 6 miles from my house. I think it's a Willys Aero? If so, there's a chance it could have crossed paths with one of our beloved 3A's somewhere in Toledo. It looks like it's been sitting in the same spot for awhile so I've probably driven by it 1000 times, completely oblivious, as usual. I didn't dare get much closer but I may have to go back for another look. Whaddya think?

I love old cars from the smaller companies.  Willys, Nash, Hudson, etc.  I think they've got way more personality than the usual Chebies and Fords that get the hotrod treatment then go for crazy prices at auction.

I'm also drawn to such vehicles.  I wonder how available parts would be?

Those old Willys cars are pretty popular among the hot rod group for rebuilds and restos. I'm guessing if you go to this link
you may find a bunch of guys like us that have all kinds of sources and data for these old beuties.
