After a long day in the yard loading our windmill tower, and 200 miles on the road, I finally have Internet access in Floydada, TX.

Today's donations push us up to $707.98 � ..If you are wondering about the weird amount, it is due to currency conversions and one payment that was entered as a mechandise sale.. We paid $2.84 or something like that on that one. �No big deal, I guess it is a small price to pay for Paypal handling all these transactions.


Anyhow, in case you missed how to donate, go to Paypal, and send a payment to us here at thecj3apage@aol.com �..Please use the personal tab and �gift the $$$ to us  If you don't use the personal payment section and gift the payment,Paypal takes their pound of flesh...(about $3.20 on a $100 donation). Put a note in your payment (they give you a little box to type a note in) saying your money is a donation to the 3a page, and also tell me your real name and your website handle. �[/b]

Again, thank you for your donations, they are really appreciated. Hopefully soon we can send a payment off to Jeep Rescue and start rebuilding the site as a user owned site. (Until we do pay for the site Dave and �I can't do a whole lot as far as changes...)

Tomorrow is a day off for me, so expect a couple updates.... 8-)

We are standing at approximately $857 right now, not counting mailed donations... Looking really good for the buyout portion, Once we get there we will be putting funds together to purchase software and IT services.

If you mailed me a donation I will have someone depositing that this weekend or early next week once they get to my place in Texas...I am stuck in Kansas going to Colorado right now, then off to Vancouver to Montana!

I just got in from another 15 hour day today, so will be updateing the sponsor member list tomorrow night if we have a normal day...

We are almost at the buyout level  at approximately $950.00. Tomorrow I will send Jonathan the buyout amount, and then we can start on the transfer to a new hosting service. We still will need to purchase new software to modernize the forum, and pay for IT services, so donations are still being accepted, up to about $800 more....how much we change to new and improved forum and website versions depends on how much gets donated.

Thanks again, everyone.. I am looking forward to some pretty good upgrades here..(Hint, we will have a FAQ section similar to the 2A pages Tech Faq section.....)

Just thought everyone would like to know, this morning we officially sent off our donations to Jonathan and now the page has new owners.... all of us!

There are still expenses to pay for.. we need to pay hosting for a year, and we need to pay Dave at Ewillys for all the IT work he will be doing for us actually making the  transfer to a new server happen as well as updateing the website here and there.  ( If you have mailed a donation, I have not made it to the house to collect them and tabulate the amounts, so if ya want to email me direct with the amount your check is it would be helpful..)

If we go with a new software package for the forum.(Wordpress is one possibility right now) we will need to buy the software and pay Dave to install it and troubleshoot any bugs that happen. I wish I could do it in my spare time but I have no clue and I doubt anyone would like the results....... :D
