You're not the only one to be taken by an ebay seller.  >:(
Let the buyer beware.
1946 2A - - - 1949 me - older than most of my Jeeps
1954 3B - - - 1957 Wagon - - - 2010 4-door JK
past Jeeps ---> '54 3B - no tub --- '59 3B - no engine
past addiction - VW ---> '69 bus --- '70 camper

Don't feel bad, I got taken on a whole CJ3A on Craigs List. Those kind of hubs are really awsome if they are in good shape. Good luck in the future.

Quebec Jeep,
 ï¿½I'm somewhat familiar with eBay selling and buying. Most items sold on eBay have eBay Buyer Protection coverage. I think you can file a claim for 45 days after the purchase.It will depend on how the hubs were listed.  But eBay really protects the buyers.  I'd check into it.  Talk to a friend with some eBay savvy and you may get out from under your high-priced unserviceable hubs.  The seller must have indicated that the hubs were in really good condition to bring that much money.  I have seen several sell for less than $80 a pair.  Good Luck!!!

I took a chance. They was looking great on the picture...

I'll keep it a spare parts.
