Oooo Boy....
« on: December 14, 2010, 10:26:59 PM »
I got a decent Christmas bonus this year, and after I bought my wife Christmas presents, she said I could buy any Jeep parts I want  ;D  !!  Gotta love her !!

One of the things I bought was a Browning 1919a4 replica and M31 pedestal mount.

My camo'd Ural Gear Up (russian 2WD motorcycle and sidecar combo) has a DP-28 replica and mount on the nose of the hack.  She wasn't too happy about that one (bought 5 years ago).  When I told her I got the MG and mount for the Willys, she looked at me blankly and said, "Does everything you own have to have a machine gun on it ?".  I smiled and said, "In a perfect world, yes."

Waste of money ? Without a doubt, I couldn't argue otherwise.

I did learn one thing..... When my wife says, "Buy any Jeep parts you want" does NOT mean a machine gun and mount....  ::)

Nah, you got the real deal, mine is a dummy made with some real parts.

If I spent what it would cost to have an operating 1919, I'd be afraid she'd use it on me !!  :)
