Ok, it's Gunk carb cleaner, not Berryman and it don't work very well. They suggest a 20 min. soak time and I left the body parts in for 3 hours and they were not clean enough. I removed all of them and put two back in after I brushed them down. In the morning I will check them and if clean to my liking I will dunk the others.
I wish I could get the stuff Berryman used to sell, it would clean a carb in less than an hour and make it sparkle. Damn you EPA >

. Oh, and the itty bitty parts bucket they stuck in the one gallon pail is near worthless. I will have to make one of the correct size. Man I hate cheap companies.
I got all the jets out of the bodys and only one gave me a lot of grief. That's not to say the others were not hard to remove. A few moderate raps with a hammer and a flat nose punch of the right size changed their mind and they came out. Of course the dirty threads gave some trouble. I am an expert with hammers, chisels and punches. They don't call me Blacksmith Carl for nothing.
Man, that carb has more jets in it than Carter has Little Liver Pills.
This carb looks to have been setting dry for years. This is going to be fun because I have the spare and Annabel and I can keep going out on driving dates every day while I rebuild her new carb. As a matter of fact tonight and Sunday night are full moons and she and I like to take a moon light drive at or near midnight. This full moon is called the Beaver Moon.
Be sure to check back for more caustic comments and possibly some enlightening and worthy comments as I forge this old carb into new life.
