non-3a
« on: February 23, 2018, 10:04:41 AM »
to my sadness and not as knowledgeable as I am now, I had joined the 3a community thinking that's what I purchased. Had body tags and this and that related to 3a but not a 3a. The engine, windshield and maybe something else is, but the body and frame are a 2a. Question, do I remain a 3a member or convert to a 2a member or both?

I think most guys would tell you they are members of both the 2a and 3a pages and many others.  There is so much cross-over between all of the old Willys that you should glean the information you need wherever you can find it.  We don't really care what you have! ;)

You have a mutt.  Lots of us do.  The 2A and 3A Pages both have smart, interesting and helpful folks.  Either place will embrace you.  Besides, most 3A guys that hang out here, also spend time at the 2A Page and vise-versa. So, join both! :)

Looks like you have a good place to start, it looks like its all there.  The things that are not 2a still work and most folks will not know the finer points of what they are seeing. Get it going and stopping and have fun through the summer.
Lots of information on the 2a page, 3a page, Willys M page,  and the 3B page.  If you have a problem the answer will be in the pages.  Every one likes pictures of projects.  My picture posting skills are nonexistent.

Thank you all for the encouragement. Yes, I've visited all the pages and then some, as all of you have too. I think timing is off a bit. Have spark, need to check where compression is though. No fire yet.....
