Hey Nate,
Ultimately, it's your Willys, so wear them how you like it best.

The M38 has footman loops on the exterior of the tub, just for the top straps. This is how it would look if you put them on the other way...

I decided to name my jeep after Teddy Roosevelt since he founded the national parks.

And I made up this chainsaw clamp for it today also.

This is why I like the M38 top. Noting on the sides like the civilian top.

I like the summer/trail tops, but jeeps are more fun and sure look their best with the top gone and the windshield down!

You can't beat the visibility...!

I love windshield down. The jeep goes faster that way too. ;)

Looks great!
Say, where did you get that rubber floor mat material?

Tractor supply. It is a 4'x 8' or 10' roll. Can't remember which. I also made floor mats for the front too. Thanks!

looks good.  I havent been able to start on mine due to the weather.  I also wanted to see which way your theme was going.  My forestry tribute is going to be very different but I like the way you used your items.  Great use of the forestry stuff.  Cant wait to see it in June.  Keep adding to it.

I made some modifications to Ted. First, I made a swing away spare tire carrier.

And I upgraded the brakes to 11". I had a set kicking around. After a trail run, I was standing on the brakes with the parking brake pulled and I thought I was going to hit the guy in front of me when I was going down a hill. Thats when I decided the 9 inchers had to go!

And then last weekend, I found a nice 6v siren. It works great!

You shoulda left the brakes alone, and used the siren next time you couldn't stop ;D

"Found" a 6v siren? Were there any others lying around? ;)

 :( :(
We are used to get more nicer photos from you. Those one are fuzzy and not clear.

And I don't see enough details about the swing away spare tire carrier. ;)
