Hello from Dracut, Massachusetts
« on: December 02, 2018, 07:19:41 AM »
Hey everyone, glad to be a part of this... going to need all sorts of help as Ive dived into the Jeep world head first. Still wondering if I can pull it off. Between forums like this and parts availability, right now my confidence level is good. Bought a 51 project for 800.00 that I believe may have been an agri-Jeep. Was on a farm, unused in a chicken coop since 1977. Has rear PTO and had homemade wiring throughout. Body badly rusted. Had a plow setup also. Body, plow, wiring all gone now. Have visible rust on pistons and have not attempted to turn motor yet. Wont for a while. So much to do and still playing with my 63 Buick. Will have tons of questions. Gonna attempt full blown restoration. Thinking 3 to 4 years. Wish me luck! ...

Welcome, I don't see any problems with that body. It even has a nice patina. I'm assuming the floorboards are gone. That's an easy fix. Good luck.
People think I go out of my way to * them off.
Trust me, It's not out of my way at all.
