I've got a early 49. Bought it back in June.  Finally have it to where I can herd it off the property. Engine and tires are in good shape. Need to get the Ross steering box in shape then start with the transmission working toward the axles.

There are several of us with early '49's here.  What is the ser. #?  Can you post a photo?  Welcome to the 3A!
