Greetings from Brazil. New CJ3A owner.
« on: March 30, 2016, 06:39:31 PM »
Greetings felas.
Im Photographer and curious.
Live in Brazil.

I just arrive at the forum. Love Jeep Willys since my first rite at the 80s in my Uncle MB, and now i have the opportunity to get my own 1951 CJ3A red (tomato lol)

I had Cherokee XJ, and have a 1973 VW Split Bus.

Look for information, share what i learn and discover more about my jeep, since it has lost his ID tags and don't have a engine number. Wish to know the original color etc.

Will pos some pictures. here.
My plan is to restore it the best way i can and more original possible.

My doubts. Militarize or Civilize it.  :/

Best regards from Brazil.

Some more pictures of "Tomato"

Will remove the roll cage soon. ;)

The boy with me in the jeep on the trail is my buddy's kid.

My son is a three year old boy hanging on the wheel.

Seeya.

Good to see international members. Welcome. What's the history on your 3A? Were those built in the US and exported to Brazil or did they build them in Brazil? I know there was some Willys manufacturing going on there at some point, right?
